Cellulosic ethanol (aka lignocellulosic ethanol, or ceetoh) is a type of biofuel produced from lignocellulose, that comprises much of the mass of plants.
Ace Ethanol LLC is a Limited Liability Company formed by Norman Spooner of Gilman, WI and Alexander Samardzich of Bruce, WI. The goal of Ace Ethanol LLC is to be the first plant to produce ethanol in the state of Wisconsin. Production started the last week of June, 2002 and Ace was indeed the first large scale ethanol plant in Wisconsin.
